Movie Trailer – Disney’s The Jungle Book, Live Action

A lot of people know about the story of The Jungle Book, Rudyard Kipling’s stories, of Mowgli the “Man-cub” who was lost in the jungle and raised by wolves. A lot more people know of the Disney animated film. Full of amazing characters like Baloo the singing, dancing bear, ambitous King Louie, and the evil and cunning Shere Khan. As well as timeless songs such as “Bear Necessities”.

Well whilst the original animated film added a lot of magic to several generations, Disney have only gone and made a live action re-make, to add a new level of magic and imagination to a whole new generation of kids (Hopefully!)

This appears to be the first big trailer release for the re-make due out April 2016, and it got me very excited. To me, the style resonates as a mix of Northern Lights mixed with King Kong (The remake), and itl ooks like they have made the story a little more grown, likely to appeal to the now adult audience who grew up with the original. It also has an amazing cast with the voice talents or Idris Elba, Ben Kingsley, Christopher Walken and Scarlett Johansen.

I’m genuinely looking forward to this, and if it comes out in Imax, will likely go and see it there, as the scenery already look really lush.

But don’t just take my word for it. Have a look at the trailer below and let me know what you think in the comments below.

Adios!
